Digital Audio Verification to manage Alarm Events

SPG Controls latest product offering is set to bring further integration to the ARCO platform to eliminate false alarms.

Up to eight microphones and 8 speakers can be attached to each S1000 controller providing pre-alarm and alarm event audio with the ability to annunciate pre-recorded messages or engage in full two-way audio. Digital recordings can be presented together with alarm events, CCTV, intruder and access control information to manage alarm handling decisions for remote locations.

ARCO provides SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) based digital audio. The digital connection leverages all SPG Control’s Cyber Security implementation. Specifically, the Audio Connection does not require an inbound port on a firewall to ensure no system vulnerability is exposed.
