Video Configuration
The ARCO Platform features a built-in Video Service API enabling integration to third-party video cameras.
For advanced video surveillance requirements, ARCO Video Proxy Server is a stand-alone software solution designed to install within a closed network. The Video Proxy Server enables the integration with any third-party video system which are ONVIF compliant or supports RTSP streaming.
Configurable Dashboard enables the full control of video displays within the ARCO Platform.
Add Device: DVR
Navigate to the Hardware Module then to the Profile page.
Create or configure a New Device.
Select DVR that will take you to the Device Configuration page.
Enter the following required information:
-> Name – Unique name
-> Description – Any text
-> RTSP URL – Depends on the DVR manufacturer
-> RTSP URL (recorded video) – Depends on the DVR manufacturer.
Click the Create button when you have completed all the required information.
The Device is created and you will be taken back to the Profile page.
Add Camera
Navigate to the Hardware Module then to the Profile page.
Create or configure a New Camera.
Select Camera that will take you to the Device Configuration page.
Enter the following required information:
-> Name – Unique name
-> Description – Any text
-> Device – Select from the drop-down menu. Choose a DVR available under the Device profile
-> Physical ID on Device – Unique identifier configured into the device
Click the Create button when you have completed all the required information.
The Device is created and you will be taken back to the Profile page.
Add IP Camera
Navigate to the Hardware Module then to the Profile page.
Create or configure a New Camera.
Select IP Camera that will take you to the Device Configuration page.
Enter the following required information:
-> Name – Unique name
-> Description – Any text
Click the Create button when you have completed all the required information.
The Device is created and you will be taken back to the Profile page.
Configure Widget: Rtsp Camera
Navigate to the Hardware Module then to the Profile page and finally to the Widget tab.
Create or configure an Rtsp Camera.
Select IP Camera that will take you to the Device Configuration page.
Click the Video Source.
Select an available camera from the drop-down menu.
Click the OK button when you have completed all the required information.
The Widget is created and you will be taken back to the Profile page.
Update Site
After configuring the DVR, Camera and Widget.
Click the Update button to save your changes.
Navigate to the Hardware Module then to the Updates page.
Click Update on your selected Site.
Your Site is now ready to display cameras.
